Leanne is empathic, as are all people of her tribe. She can feel what the people around her feel, very strongly and easily, and it isn't voluntary on her part. She can, however, take it a step further and read the flow of another person's thoughts. Not their exact thoughts, but the general idea. For example, if someone were to think, exactly,

"I'm really pissed with this bitch because she owes me money for that one time I bought her dinner."

Leanne would get from that,

"this person does not like this other person because they feel cheated."

While this part of her power has to be done intentionally, she uh. Does not always ask first. It's one of her ruder habits.

That said, I don't want to info-mod anyone or step on anyone's toes! So if you'd rather that for some reason, the powers that be in the Country prevent her from getting emotions, thoughts, or both from your character, please let me know here!

Along the same vein, if your character is one of the "emotions don't fit the poker face" types and you don't mind Leanne honing in on this, please let me know that here, too. o/

For both Loki (lord_of_misrule) and for Adam Jensen (deus_machina) feel free to read emotions and thoughts. There's a lot of circuitry and cybernetic junk in Adam's brain, I don't know if that would interfere or not. I'll leave that up to you o/

In a nutshell (hopefully this helps):
Loki is extremely arrogant, but inside a lonely little boy.

Adam is very stoic outwardly, inside he ... is actually pretty stoic too XD He has some seriously underdeveloped emotions, mostly he's very mistrusting and cynical.

Things with Equius though are going to be a bit difficult. He has powers of his own which counter-react such things with the Void and that prevents anyone from accessing anything around him mentally. If ever these two should meet we should probably plot it out. But in most usual cases he's usually inaccessible and unfindable.

Natasha might be a bit more difficult - I'm assuming that somewhere along the way she was trained to throw up walls in her mind to keep people from getting in, since she's dealing with super heroes who are often of the mind-ready sort. I'm not sure how that will extend to empathy, though she hides her emotions very, very well. Feel free to catch flickers though!

Okay, so she would probably notice Natasha is very hard to read and stop trying. o/ The empathy works kind of like an extra-sensitive sixth sense. I'll compare it to smell; everything has a smell, and most people have to sniff or be really close for subtle smells, but Leanne doesn't. Her emotion-nose is so sensitive she picks things up whether she sniffs or not. Does that make sense?

Her involuntary feels are a go, with no consequences! That's just aura leakage. Mind-reading, however, might be difficult. He may even feel someone invading his mind, and violently shove them out.

I have no idea, since I'm not canon-familiar. |Da The empathy, like you said, is just kinda aura leakage she picks up from everything around her. I'm not sure how her mind powers work, other than that she has to actively *use* them, so we can go ahead and say prodding his is a no-go! :3
